In 1958, Giovanni Jannetti established Cantieri Navali San Lorenzo SpA in Viareggio. Since its foundation, the shipyard has built its reputation on exemplary lines and style realized by skilled labour and traditions passed down from father to son that utilize handcrafted finishes and precious materials. They also ensure that each yacht is customized to the owner’s requirements. Over the past half-century, Sanlorenzo has launched several highly successful lines and has been recognized as one of the top 20 builders of yachts over 78 feet (24 meters), with a huge and award-winning fleet of yachts on offer. The Global Order Book consistently ranks Sanlorenzo in the list of top 10 superyacht builders globally, with their yacht builds ranging from 28.60 to 62 meters in length.
One of the strongest brand names in the industry, superyacht builder Sanlorenzo constructs luxury yachts and megayachts primarily using steel, aluminium and resin-infused fibreglass. The shipyard’s is known for its excellence in yacht design, naval architecture, high-tech construction, sales and marketing. Today, Sanlorenzo operates shipyards in Ameglia, Viareggio and Massa, Italy. It has created an inspiring line of yachts, both semi-custom and ‘Made to Measure’ custom, with a wide range of styles from performance cruisers to explorer-style yachts.
